It's been too long since my last post. I'm having a dilemma. I used to drink spinach and fruit smoothies before I was pregnant with my son but crazy hormones and such I couldn't drink while pregnant. I really enjoyed drinking breakfast smoothies because they are easy and good for ya. Win win! So today I decided to make one while the little one feasted on waffles. I blended up vanilla soy, spinach leaves, frozen berries and tons of cinnamon. I took a big gulp and it tasted like dirt! Seriously, and I washed the leaves peeps before ya ask. So if you have a favorite smoothie that is nutritious and yummy please share! My taste buds will thank you :)

Do you dream a little dream?
I am starting this blog in hopes to empower women to stop dreaming about what moves you and make it a reality.
I used to sit and wish I had learned how to sew from my great-grandmother. Or if I knew of someone who was a seamstress I'd mention to them how I'd love to learn but with everyone so busy these days, that never happened.
So I decided to teach myself to sew and I was pretty confident thinking back to that moment. But, when my husband forked over the mula for my machine and physically got it home. I was not so confident. Frankly, I was afraid to touch the machine. But, I pulled up my breeches and tackled that bad boy and haven't looked back.
Girls, if is there is a will there is a way. Maybe you dream of making a nice Thanksgiving spread this year for you and your loved ones but can't manage to boil rice. It's okay there are some great people out there with some mad cooking skills that are willing to help you out. So get your head out of the clouds and get cracking.
